We’re kicking off the week with a marvy little competition for you.
We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to a really special gig taking place at Camden’s gorgeous West End church, St Giles in The Fields on Wednesday (20th July). Brighton based Lauren Doss performs under the name Mechanical Bride, and her debut album is called Living with Ants. We should point out that she sounds nothing like a machine, nor an ant – though what an ant sounds like is anyone’s guess. Anyway, this Wednesday Lauren will be performing the album in full to what is sure to be a captivated congregation, and you could be there too.
For those of you unfamiliar with Lauren’s music, she has recently been likened to some sort of Beach House/Marling hybrid, but we’d recommend that you give her a proper listen and make up your own mind.
